Pamica-owned Stapp, which manufactures and sells environmentally friendly shooting ranges, has signed a contract with the Swedish Police Authority amounting to MSEK 160 for the construction of seven shooting ranges. The project is one of the largest in Europe and involves a turnkey contract of complete shooting ranges involving construction, targeting systems, bullet traps and other infrastructure connected to the ranges. The majority of the delivery is scheduled to be completed in 2024 and 2025.

“This assignment is wonderful confirmation that we are living up to the high demands that are placed on suppliers for the Swedish Police Authority. We view our assignment and our role as an important element of Sweden’s efforts for a safe society and we are delighted that, in addition to our long relationship with the Swedish Armed Forces, the Swedish Police Authority has now expanded its confidence in our company by awarding us this contract,” says Anders Willix, CEO of Stapp.

Stapp is the primary supplier of both indoor and outdoor environmentally friendly shooting ranges for the Swedish Armed Forces but has also previously completed other assignments for the Swedish Police Authority. At the end of 2023, Eskilstuna Dynamics (EDAB), which manufactures and sells software and hardware for use in targeting systems at shooting ranges in primarily the US, was acquired. These businesses, which will be integrated, together comprise a leading end-to-end supplier of environmentally friendly shooting ranges in Sweden, with sales in the US.
