Pamica-owned communications agency network People People People (PPP) has noted rising demand for staffing in-house departments and hiring out consulting resources. The focus on in-house skills is thus now being intensified with the acquisition of HIROY – a well-established recruitment and talent agency. Quite simply, your partner for supplying the best skills.

HIROY had sales of MSEK 46 last year and reported a strong start to 2023 with about 40 consultants on its payroll. Per Alm, CEO and founder of HIROY, believes that the fact that consultants are relatively isolated in their roles is a huge problem for the temporary work industry.

“They don’t have any back-up, but with PPP’s 400 consultants behind us we have the best specialists in the industry ready to support consultants or provide additional skills where needed. It is also easy to add varying degrees of supplementary skills, such as a specialist working 10-50%, which has been difficult for us in the past.

The temporary staffing business may indeed be more sensitive to the fluctuations in the economy, but its impact varies between different companies,” says Per Alm, in reference to the current economic climate and its unknown consequences.

“We can see that many companies need to reduce their numbers of permanent employees and make their organization more flexible. A suitable mix of consultants is a great solution,” he says.

We want to be in-house agencies’ best friend and this is an important step on that path. HIROY’s journey has been amazing.

People People People saw the light of day when its founders bought out the agency network from former owner Bonnier. The network includes Oh My, Spoon, Trickle, The Domain Was Taken, KIT, Gabardin, Fuze, Post, Rodolfo and from the start of the year Kreng (e-commerce consultants) and strategic agency Outlier were formed as spin-offs from the network’s incubator program. PPP has operations in Sweden, Norway, Finland and the UK.

The acquisition of HIROY is a natural part of strengthening the agency network’s offering in talent resources and establishing a hybrid solution together with customers. Anders Ribba, CEO of PPP, highlights the synergies between PPP and HIROY.

“In the short term, we can see many synergies between companies and client assignments. We want to be in-house agencies’ best friend and this is an important step on that path. HIROY’s journey has been amazing – Per and Johan have built up a wonderful company that is already generating sales of almost MSEK 50. Now I may sound like I have the self-confidence of Swedish crime writer Leif GW Persson but I believe that we can double those sales fairly quickly,” he says.
