Sappa will launch Dplay – watch the Swedish Elite series

We are very pleased to announce that Sappa will be one of the first operators to offer Dplay, one of Sweden's fastest growing streaming services, which among other things holds the rights and broadcasts for the Swedish Elite Series "Allsvenskan".

Within a couple of Days the subscriptions will be available to buy from Sappa. Sappa will offer the packages Dplay Total, Dplay Live and Dplay Entertainment.

Dplay – entertainment without advertising

Discovery and Dplay offer a wide range of channels, exciting programs and colorful and popular profiles. Discovery gathers the best content from some of Sweden’s – and the world’s – largest TV channels, such as Channel 5, Channel 9, Channel 11, TLC, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, Eurosport and many more. It means world-class content, from breathtaking entertainment to gripping documentaries.

Green light for the “Allsvenskan”

The public health authority’s (“Folkhälsomyndigheten”) press conference today (2020-05-29) approves that the sports leagues may start again on June 14. This means that Allsvenskan is expected to start shortly on Dplay.

– It will be a fantastic combination: Documentaries, series and football in top class via Dplay together with customer service in top class through Sappa, says Hasse Svensson, CEO of Sappa.
