Pamica 2 AB and co-investors have acquired the TV, broadband and telephony provider Sappa. Hasse Svensson, who has been CEO of Sappa since 2007, remains in this role. The transaction will not change anything for Sappa’s customers or suppliers.

“The telecom market is in a consolidation phase, as the large-scale expansion of fiber is almost complete and offers within mobile, broadband, telephony, and TV deals are merging. The next step is service development on existing infrastructures. The plan is that, Sappa also in the future, will strive to be Sweden’s most customer-friendly telecom company, with local presence and lasting relations with both suppliers and customers,” comments Jan-Olof Svensson, CEO of Pamica.

Sappa offers broadband, telephony, digital TV, analogue TV via Koaxcabel, and IPTV via fiber to villas and multi-family houses, and has approximately 400 000 households as customers in Sweden. Over the past five years, the group has shown positive growth and had a turnover of 310 MSEK in 2017, with good profitability.

“Our strong customer offering, dedicated employees and the expertise and experience Pamica’s network stand for, create fantastic opportunities for Sappa to reach the next level in our development. Together, we will develop Sappa by introducing new and attractive customer offers, which will benefit our suppliers and customers,” comments Hasse Svensson, CEO of Sappa.

Sappa is acquired by Viria OY.
