Beans in Cup has recently become a coffee supplier to Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi

Ishotellet is the world’s first and largest hotel built of snow and ice. This winter hotel has re-emerged in a new guise every winter for the past three decades, every year with completely new art to experience. Every year during an intense period in November and early December, the void at the river bank is transformed into a magnificent hotel built of ice and snow. For five months, it is possible for guests from all over the world to experience the perishable art in the winter hotel before it melts down to the adjacent Torne River in the spring. In addition to fifteen to twenty standard-room ice rooms, the winter hotel also has twelve unique art suites, all specially designed and handcrafted by artists from all over the world.

Claus Hartmann, restaurant manager at Ishotellet, explains that Beans in Cup eventually became the coffee supplier they chose. One reason was that Ishotellet aim to run a sustainable business and therefore always looks for suppliers and collaborations that contribute to this goal and that the supplier has the sustainable mindset in their businesses as well, something that Beans in Cup accomplishes.

There are currently three machines on the facility and installed with coffee from Arvid Nordquist, which hotel guests can enjoy. These are available in the conference area of the hotel as well as in The Hub and Riverside.
