Beans in Cup continues its growth journey and makes new acquisitions

Beans in Cup, the Swedish company that delivers coffee to work places, further strengthens its position by acquiring two new companies. These acquisitions are Coffee House in Borås and InCup in Uppsala. The goal of the acquisitions is to establish itself as an even stronger player in the coffee segment towards workplaces throughout Sweden. The date for the closing is 1 April 2021.

– We are very happy to welcome Coffee House in Borås and InCup Uppsala to Beans in Cup. Both companies fit very well into our strategic plan to further strengthen our presence in each market and strengthen our total presence in Sweden. Both Coffee House and InCup have a long and solid experience of the industry and together with their drive, this fits in very well with our business. We warmly welcome them into our company, says Johan Åberg, CEO of Beans in Cup.

– Since Coffee House was founded, we have had the ambition to become a prominent player as a coffee supplier to companies in western Sweden. Now with Beans in Cup, as new owners, more markets and sectors are opening up, in which we previously had no opportunity to operate. Both companies share the same view on how sales and service should be conducted and that now having a strong owner like Beans in Cup is very positive for us and all our customers, says Claes Löthman, former CEO of Coffee House in Borås.

– It will be extremely fun and exciting to take this step with Beans in Cup and be included in the new organization. This will help us both develop and expand the business so that we can meet customers’ and the market’s needs even better. With this, we will be able to strengthen our position in Uppsala and Roslagen, says Janne Björkholm, previous owner and CEO of InCup.

Coffee House’s former CEO, Claes Löthman, as well as InCup’s previous owner and CEO, Janne Björkholm, will continue with an operational role within the Group.
